This article will detail solution for errors when deploying an update to an extension. The error shows a .jar file in use and cannot be installed.
Turn off the windchill server. In the Windchill Server file directory, go to WTHOME/wex/packages and delete the folder of the extension you are trying to update. Start the server and install the newest version of the extension.
