This article will explain an error when installing an extension and how to rectify it.
Description
There is an error when installing an extension that comes up as ATTENTION: Extension installation failed: Extension is not approved to install on the platform.
This is because wex-audit is configured to only allow Windchill+ Approved extensions to be installed.
Solution
Turn the system wex on.
Go to configuration of Wex Audit, select No and click update. Note: This can only be done by Site Admins.
